Please note that the API is still work-in-progress.
The Cantrell Administration’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) program includes an unprecedented commitment to overhauling technology in the City’s criminal justice system. The Justice Technology Modernization Program (JTMP) is modernizing the parish’s court, jail, and law enforcement systems.
The JTMP Program is hosting this Enterprise Service Bus implementation to and improve the integration between them.
Standardized, transactional data exchange will cut time spent on manual paperwork, freeing police officers and other justice professionals to focus on protecting the community and delivering improved outcomes.
Specifically, JTMP will involve data integrations with the criminal justice data applications that serve as the primary line-of-business system for one or more agency in the New Orleans/Orleans Parish criminal justice ecosystem (owner agency noted in parentheses):
• Records Management System (New Orleans Police Department – NOPD)
• Jail Management System (Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office)
• Criminal Court Case Management System (Orleans Criminal District Court Clerk, supporting the Criminal District Courts of Orleans Parish)
• Prosecutors’ CMS
• Public Defender’s CMS
• A shared Subpoena Service system (CourtNotify)
• Court CMS (New Orleans Municipal and Civil Court)
